WEDDING AT THE BRIDE & THE BAUER - KANSAS CITY, MO
June 24, 2022
This sweet day was one for the books! It was the first time I had photographed anything in downtown KC and it was the first time I was able to meet Gaétan & Aubrey in person! This is so rare for me! Normally, I've already met my couples beforehand, but because we live miles apart, I never got the chance to. Aubrey & Gaétan first reached out to me while I was at a conference in Vegas. We talked over a zoom meeting right there in my hotel room. Over the coming months, we had various zoom meetings talking about their day, getting to know each other more and planning everything down to each picture-perfect moment. Since they live in the Pacific Northwest, but having their Wedding in Kansas City, zoom meetings was all we could do. I had yet to meet them in person. Walking into this day, I didn't know much about their personalities. I knew that Aubrey was a planner and was so excited to be getting married! I knew that Gaétan was sweet, and that Aubrey thought the world of him. What I found when I arrived at the Bauer, was so much more! All the love & support from their closest friends & family was truly a site to see. I learned so much more about Gaétan & Aubrey that day! Aubrey has the biggest heart I have ever seen, loves the sites in Kansas City and has the most infectious laugh. I learned that Gaétan loves cheese; so, Aubrey had the groom's cake made of Gaétan's favorite cheese! It was a stunning day at The Bride & The Bauer and I can't wait for you to see their day through my eyes! These two now have a piece of my heart! Enjoy!
I went into this wedding day knowing that pictures were a HIGH priority, and I didn’t take that responsibility lightly!! I ended up with some incredible portraits that are going to be saved in my “favorites” folder for SURE!!! I love ending a wedding day knowing that I have hundreds upon hundreds of images that I’m proud of!
Congratulations Gaetan & Aubrey! Thank you so much for sharing your day with me!
Best Wishes,
Jennifer McCall
