There is only one thing I love more than photographing Weddings and that's teaching others how to master their photography skills. As one of the top portrait photographers in the Central Missouri area, I have extensive knowledge when it comes to photography as well as posing and lighting techniques. My goal is to take my experience & knowledge and share it with as many photographers as possible! I've won ribbons, trophies and Merits in PPA's Internation Exhibition (which is a huge deal in the photography world). Each conference I attend, I learn something new that I can incorporate into my craft and my business. And I'm happy to share my knowledge and skills with other photographers!

Basic Digital Photography ~ Class
Class Type: Seminar. Date: TBD Fall 2023. Cost: $100
This class will cover basic concepts and practice of digital photography, including understanding and use of the camera, lenses, and other basic photographic equipment. The class will address aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, space, exposure, light and color. By the end of the 2.5-hour class, you will have a better understanding of your camera and how best to use it for what you want to photograph. This is a Lecture & "Hands On" course, make sure to bring your camera with you and any materials you may need for taking notes! Refreshments & Snacks provided.
The Basics of Working with Natural Light ~ Workshop
Class Type: Workshop. Date: TBD Spring 2024. Cost: $150
This class will cover basic concepts and practice of using natural light, including understanding and use of camera settings, reflector & diffuser. The class will address aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, light and color. By the end of the 2-hour class, you will have a better understanding of working with natural light in outdoor portraits. This is a "Hands On" course, make sure to bring your camera with you! This is a "Hands On" workshop, make sure to bring your camera with you! Refreshments & Snacks provided.
The Basics of Working with Off-Camera Flash ~ Workshop
Class Type: Workshop. Date: TBD Spring 2024. Cost: $150
This class will cover basic concepts and practice of using off-camera flash, including understanding and use of camera settings, flash, light stand & a softbox. The class will address aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, lighting & posing. By the end of the 2-hour class, you will have a better understanding of working with off-camera flash in outdoor portraits. This is a "Hands On" workshop, make sure to bring your camera & a Godox Trigger with you! Refreshments & Snacks provided.
