A Wedding Anniversary at the Lake

Levi and Amanda have been married for over 3 years! I was blessed with the opportunity to capture some portraits for them! Since they both love the outdoors, we picked a spot along Lake Sacajawea in Longview, WA to do their mini session. It was a rainy, cold November afternoon. We were unsure we were going to be able to do their portraits, but we braved it and they did amazing!
At the end of their session, they tell me "We wish we knew you when we got married". I'm always blown away when I hear that. Often times, I meet couples like Levi & Amanda who didn't have professional photographer for their wedding. Either they couldn't afford to, or it was a family friend they thought would do great. And they always tell me they regret their previous decision because of the difference they see in professional portraits. I wish I knew them too because they were both amazing to photograph! I loved getting to know them! Thank you so much for having me!
